When looking for attractions in London near Euston Square, there is a large variety to choose from. London is a tremendous source of historical and cultural places to visit and enjoy fully, and many can be found near Euston Square.

Trafalgar Square is London's largest square and has been a place for people to meet as far back as the Middle Ages. The Admiralty Arch goes back to the commissioning by Edward VII and is really five arches that comprise the route to St. Paul's Cathedral. The central arch stays closed except when a sovereign passes through on special occasions. The Nelson's Column commemorates Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson. There are many other statues and two fountains.

Piccadilly Circus is another major landmark and brings together five streets in the center of the capital. It features such sights as the Angel of Christian Charity in a fountain, known as the archer Eros by romantic couples. It stays busy both day and night and is a sight to see with its illuminations in the evenings.

The Movie Poster Art Gallery (1 Colville Place) follows cinematic history through the offering of movie posters and advertising artwork going as far back as the Victorian era, the 1930s, and then on from there. Because World War II saw the recycling of large amounts of paper, these precious souvenirs had to be located in old theaters, warehouses, and attics. This gallery specializes in using linen backing to stabilize the fragile paper so that it can be restored and framed.

Pollock's Toy Museum and Toy Shop (1 Scala Street) is actually two 18th century four-story houses filled with nostalgia toys such as model railways, doll houses, dolls, puppets, teddy bears, and a Victorian model theaters collection.

The Sherlock Holmes Museum (221b Baker Street) is a reproduction of the Victorian home in the famous stories where you can dabble in the scientific experiments and view memorabilia as you recall the books.

The London Central Mosque (more commonly called the Regent's Park Mosque) can be easily seen because of its beautiful and large golden dome and 140 feet of minaret. It is the spiritual center for United Kingdom Muslims, provides education on the Islam religion, and has a large library, a prayer hall that holds up to 1,400 worshippers, administrative offices, an events hall, and more. Two yearly Muslim festivals attract up to 50,000 Muslim visitors.
